Bring your knitting and join us for a cozy afternoon event with bestselling author Kate Jacobs. Her latest, Knit the Season, is a celebration of special times with friends and family. The story begins a year after the end of Knit Two, with Dakota Walker's trip to Scotland to spend the Christmas holidays with her Gran. She's accompanied by her father, grandparents, and her mother's best friend, Catherine. From Thanksgiving through Haunukkah and Christmas to New Year's, Knit the Season is a story about the richness of family bonds and the joys of friendship.  Kate is working with Warming Families and Land's End to collect hats for families as she travels during her book tour so if you're a knitter now is a great time to get started on the official pattern for the hat drive (opens as PDF) or something of your own creation to bring to the event. We will donate the hats we collect at our event to Ozaukee Family Services.
