In the latest installment of the Five Ancestor's series, Long, the dragon-style warrior, saw his temple burned, his brothers
killed, and his novice siblings fleeing to the four winds. But that was
many months ago. Now the five young warriors have reunited with Ying,
the redeemed renegade who put all of these events in motion, and
ShaoShu, the mousy street thief, to prevent the wily mantis Tonglong
from taking over China. Time is short and distances are great, and the
future of China lies in the hands of five young monks.

For readers ages 10 and up.

Meet Kirk Farber, Oconomowoc native and author of the debut novel Postcards From a Dead Girl. The paperback original follows Sid Higgins, a travel agent in the throes of a crisis. His sales are down. He thinks he might have a brain tumor. He's pretty sure his mother is talking to him from a bordeaux bottle in the basement and his sister thinks he's a hypochondriac. If these were the only things bothering him it wouldn't be so bad. But what's really eating at him is Zoe, his ex-girlfriend who disappeared more than a year a go and the postcards he suddenly begins receiving from her in countless exotic locations. Sid's journey to the truth is a funny, poignant, and engaging read about breaking through when all you want to do is break down.

Kirk worked with Redbird Studios while he was in Wisconsin.
