Meg Boren

Meg Boren, Grafton, Wisconsin native and president of Circle of Empowerment Inc. will discuss the humanitarian project she founded and her work in Nicaragua where she helps provide health care to residents of eight villages. When Hurricane Mitch struck in 1999, Meg worked as a mission nurse in Nicaragua. She fell in love with the country and its spirited people and decided to move there. She was inspired to start Circle of Empowerment Inc.  If you were inspired by Greg Mortenson’s Three Cups of Tea, you won’t want to miss this event with Meg Boren.
