Children are in for a scrumptious storytime treat when Wisconsin authors
Lisa Moser and Sara Akin visit us for a special storytime! Lisa Moser's
Perfect Soup
is about a mouse named Murray who likes everything just so, especially
his soup! When he realizes he needs a carrot for his meal, he sets out
to find one, but getting it won't be as easy it seems. In Sara Akin's Three Scoops and a Fig,
a little girl named Sofia and her cat Figaro want to help the family
make a delicious meal at their restaurant. When no on seems to want
their help, they take comfort under the leaves of a big fig tree. A rush
of wind rustling some figs loose gives her an idea for a sweet recipe
all her own!
