Treat yourself and your book club to a great night out with Susanna Daniel, Wisconsin native (by way of Florida), and author of Stiltsville. The novel is primarily set in the late 1960s and early ‘70s in a vivid community of houses built on pilings in the middle of the Biscayne Bay. Frances Ellerby and her husband, Dennis, face the challenges of raising a family and the environment they call home until suddenly their island oasis is gone. When Frances thinks she’s finally figured out how to live on dry land, away from her beloved home, she is forced to confront the greatest obstacle in her life yet.

Find out more about the real Stiltsville at the links below. (We highly recommend it! We think the photos are beautiful, and the history is fascinating).
